Pakistan faces another huge blow as star bowler ruled out for the first test against Australia

Haris Rauf is likely to be ruled out of the first test after testing Covid-19 positive

Another huge blow for the Pakistan cricket team as Haris Rauf has been tested Covid-19 positive ahead of the first test match against Australia

Haris Rauf was selected for the first time in the test match squad for the Pakistan cricket team and is yet to play his first test match but is likely to be ruled out for the first test against Australia after testing Covid-19 positive. Haris Rauf has been put in isolation immediately after the test results.

Haris Rauf exclusion from test squad will force the selectors to look at reserve players where Muhammad Abbas and Naseem Shah are the likely replacements.

Muhammad Wasim Jr and Iftikhar Ahmed has already been called up to replace the injured Hassan Ali and Faheem Ashraf who hit with injuries earlier in PSL while playing for Islamabad United.

After the Covid-19 positive case of Haris Rauf, whole Pakistan cricket team squad will be re tested for Covid-19 ahead of the first test against Kangroos.

If Haris Rauf does not test negative ahead of the match against Australia, Naseem Shah or Muhammad Waseem Jr are the most likely replacements.
